Job Responsibilities:
- Advise Operations on all requirements related to hull inspection and cleaning.
- Monitor the condition of hulls on owned and long-term chartered vessels and recommend inspections and anti-fouling runs.
- Arrange underwater inspections and cleanings on chartered and owned ships as needed.
- Track fouled vessels and oversee their cleaning processes.
- Maintain a database related to biofouling and cleaning for all owned and long-term chartered vessels.
- Provide advice and present evidence to the Legal department on any disputes arising from hull fouling.
- Utilize Fleet Performance data to analyze and investigate deficiencies within the fleet, presenting findings accordingly.
- Provide support to the Fleet Performance Manager as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture is a must.
- At least 5 years of experience in fleet performance operations or a related role.
- Strong understanding of hull maintenance, biofouling prevention, and cleaning processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize fleet performance data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software and database management.
