Role Summary:

As a Port Agent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional port agency services, managing vessel bookings, coordinating husbandry services, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional port agency services to customers, meeting or exceeding operational and financial KPIs
  • Conduct vessel boarding as required by business needs
  • Prepare proforma port and husbandry costs, securing pre-funding from customers as necessary
  • Oversee the booking of port services and the pre-arrival documentation process between vessel, port/terminal, and government authorities
  • Keep customers and stakeholders informed about berthing and sailing prospects, providing real-time progress reports during vessel port calls
  • Prepare cargo and customs documentation as per requirements
  • Coordinate husbandry services, including crew changes, technicians, ship visitors, spares, provisions, Cash to Master, bunkers, fresh water, and garbage off-loading
