Are you looking for a new role in sales with a renowned, global business who specialse in the Marine energy sector?

Faststream are working with an esteemed client who are looking to hire a Sales Representative or Account Manager to join the company, this role will be a full time position based in Rotterdam. They are open to graduates who have a maritime degree, ideally with a few years in a sales role in a Marine related role.  

Responsibilities
  • Promote aftersales activities and service solutions to marine customers.
  • Follow up on sales quotations, leads, and opportunities, ensuring regular contact with customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, building relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer developments, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Cross-sell products and services, collaborating with internal departments to maximise opportunities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with opportunity pipeline
  • Provide input on potential new products and services based on customer needs and market developments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales teams
  • Proactively generate new leads and opportunities, driving growth within the region.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in ideally in a Maritime or Business related subject
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role within the marine industry.
  • Strong understanding of marine equipment and service solutions
  • Driven, customer-focused, entrepreneurial, strong ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different cultures and environments.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Experience or willingness to be client facing, this role will include regular face to face client visits in and around Rotterdam
