Job Summary: As the Reliability Engineering Manager you'll play a vital role in optimizing the container terminal equipment's performance. Reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineering Manager, you'll contribute to the strategic objectives in safety, asset capability, quality, and productivity. Your solid engineering fundamentals and dedication to improvement are what they're seeking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Reliability Engineering Manager to implement corporate initiatives.
  • Focus on reliability and continuous improvement for top-notch terminal performance.
  • Manage our maintenance system, coordinate equipment needs, and lead root cause analysis efforts.
  • Maintain good labor relations and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Lead maintenance technicians, oversee budgets, and plan preventive maintenance.
  • Proactively plan corrective maintenance and improve equipment design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Some technical and managerial work experience would be ideal.
  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals for container handling equipment would be even better, but experience with other types of industrial equipment will definitely be considered. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer skills.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and travel occasionally as required.
  • Familiarity with CMMS, SQL, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Mechanical and electrical understanding, including drawings/schematics.
  • Experience with various equipment types and maintenance.
  • Exposure to steel structure design and hoist systems.
