This position would be ideal for someone with a background in marine/ maritime software sales, particularly in channel and direct sales, who is a self-starter, driven and motivated, generous basic and commission structure on offer!
The company are ideally looking to hire in their UK office and are very flexible with home or office working alongside client visits, they are also open to hiring someone living in Northern Europe for this role.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and growth by identifying and managing new business opportunities.
- Sourcing and following up with relevant leads.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers in maritime companies and develop strong customer connections.
- Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and meetings to showcase software solutions to potential resellers and direct clients.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring consistent business growth in line with company strategy.
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer retention and identify new opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders within the business to provide market feedback and contribute to product development.
- Travel primarily within Northern Europe to industry events and client meetings
- Proven experience in software sales, preferably within the maritime sector.
- Knowledge of Maritime Satcom solutions is advantageous for this position
- Strong presentation skills with a history of successful direct and reseller sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a keen interest in emerging maritime market trends.
