Are you a marine professional with strong vessel experience looking to step into a QHSE leadership role?
We’re partnering with a leading company in the offshore marine industry to find a proactive QHSE Manager to drive quality, health, safety, and environmental initiatives across their European operations, managing a large fleet on a global scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Implement and oversee QHSE policies, ensuring compliance with ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001).
- Conduct internal audits, vessel inspections, and safety assessments.
- Manage accreditation and certification processes.
- Perform site audits and ensure SMS compliance.
- Lead investigations into incidents and non-conformities, recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver staff training on quality and safety procedures.
- Prepare management reviews and track key performance indicators.
What You’ll Bring:
- Vessel experience is essential – could be from a Surveyor, Marine Engineering, or other shore-based maritime role.
- Strong understanding of marine operations and safety standards.
- Auditing experience (internal/external) is a plus.
- Knowledge of UK regulations and international QHSE standards.
- NEBOSH certification (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
