Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the procurement of spare parts, stores, and provisions for vessels.
  • Collaborate with vessel managers and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and maintain records of transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of purchasing experience within ship management companies.
  • Tanker background preferred, but candidates with dry cargo experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a committed professional with a serious work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
