We are seeking a Purchaser to join a leading ship management company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in maritime procurement to contribute to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the procurement of spare parts, stores, and provisions for vessels.
- Collaborate with vessel managers and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor procurement budgets and maintain records of transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- 3-4 years of purchasing experience within ship management companies.
- Tanker background preferred, but candidates with dry cargo experience are also welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a committed professional with a serious work ethic.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
