We are looking for a Port Manager for our client to establish and lead their new office in New Orleans. This pivotal leadership role requires someone with extensive experience in the agency business and a strong knowledge of the surrounding area. Can you manage and grow relationships with tanker clients, initially handling visits of approximately 5 ships per month?
Are you based in New Orleans and have a strong knowledge of the area?
Do you have experience with tanker operations and can provide strong references demonstrating your reliability, flexibility, and solid background in the agency business?
Are you capable of expanding their presence in US ports, leveraging your existing contacts and developing new business opportunities?
As the first point of contact and leader for the New Orleans office, you will oversee the establishment of the office, ensuring all operational needs are met. You will need the skills to engage with clients and stakeholders to negotiate contracts and secure business deals?
If you have previous experience setting up and managing a new office, strong leadership and team-building skills, and excellent negotiation and communication abilities, we want to hear from you. The salary for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 + benefits
