Are you an experienced Port Captain or Master Mariner with a solid background in project cargo? We’re recruiting for a growing and reputable global logistics company that specialises in multi-purpose project vessels and is seeking a skilled Port Captain to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute lashing and lifting plans to safely load cargo from shore to ship.
  • Oversee loading operations, supervise port procedures, and collaborate closely with the vessel's Master.
  • Provide hands-on assistance at loading ports when required, ensuring all procedures are carried out efficiently and safely.
  • Support the commercial and operational teams in planning and executing project cargo shipments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Port Captain or in a similar role.
  • Solid background in handling project cargo, ideally with windmill cargo experience.
  • Proven experience creating lashing and lifting plans.
  • Master Unlimited qualification preferred but not required.
  • Previous sea-going experience, especially on project cargo vessels.
  • Experience working with MPP vessels and heavy-duty cranes is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
