Job Title: Personal Assistant to the Chairman
Location: South of France
Languages: Fluent in English and French
Experience: 5+ years in a similar role
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Chairman of a leading Yacht Management Company. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and French, possess a strong background in providing executive-level support, and have at least five years of experience in a similar role. This is a dynamic position that requires exceptional communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide full administrative and secretarial support to the Chairman, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organising travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Chairman and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence in both English and French.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Assist in managing the Chairman’s personal and professional commitments, ensuring efficient use of time.
  • Liaise with clients, partners, and suppliers on behalf of the Chairman.
  • Manage expense reports and other financial documents.
  • Assist in the organisation of events, including yacht shows, corporate functions, and other industry-related activities.
  • Provide ad-hoc support as needed, including project management and research tasks.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar PA or executive assistant role, preferably within the yachting or luxury services industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside of regular business hours when necessary.
  • You must have the right to live and work in the South of France - no sponsorship will be provided.
  • Relocation is at your cost, if you are not currently residing in a commutable distance to the office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the maritime or luxury sectors is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of yacht management or the yachting industry is an asset.
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
