The role of Performance Management Analyst will offer a diverse and varied role as an ambassador for data and the reporting suite across all levels of the business.
Reporting To: Performance Management Lead.
Location: Based in Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engagement with any element of the business to understand the underlying business drivers, performance metrics and reporting requirements.
- Development and unequivocal definition of KPIs with the business teams.
- Identification and verification of the best and only source of data for each KPI.
- Design and develop relevant and impactful performance KPIs for the business.
- Work with the BI team in IT to deploy incisive reporting and ad hoc decision support.
- Be an ambassador for data and the reporting suite when engaging with different areas of the business and at all levels.
- Cooperation with the BI team to deploy the KPI – preferably on the Power BI reporting tool.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree level qualification - desirable but will consider qualified by experience.
- 3 years’ experience in a data management or reporting role.
- Highly systems literate with the ability to adopt a new system quickly and effectively.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Highly numerate with strong Excel skills.
- Good communication skills, able to listen to or explain complex issues to any audience.
- A passion for using data and new tools to improve our work.
- Experience using a data visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView.
- Basic understanding of SQL or another coding language.
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate or other automation tools, or incorporating AI into workflows.
