Responsibilities :
- Coordinating and managing the operations of tanker and dry bulk vessels within our shipbroking company.
- Liaising with shipowners, charterers, and port agents to ensure the efficient and safe transportation of liquid and dry bulk cargoes.
- Oversee the voyage execution, monitor vessel performance.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations and company procedures.
- Resolve operational issues, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Assisting senior brokers and operators.
- Ensuring high performance and maintaining a strong customer base.
- Database input, vessel position maintenance, client record keeping.
- Handling and monitoring of voyage /time charted accounts for the ships including hire payments, freight payments, SOA and settlement of final voyage account with ship owner / charters.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with shipowners, charterers, and port authorities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple vessels and operational tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to assess market trends, vessel performance data, and operational risks.

- Collaborative approach towards working with internal teams, including chartering, finance, and legal departments, to ensure seamless execution of tanker and dry bulk operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications or training in tanker operations, such as Chartering or Vessel Management courses, would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tanker and/or dry bulk operations, preferably within a shipbroking or shipping company.
- Proven track record of successfully managing tanker vessels and overseeing voyage operations.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations, particularly those related to tanker safety, pollution prevention, and port operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of tanker shipping operations, including chartering, loading, discharging, and cargo handling procedures.
