We are partnering a dynamic and growing company in the energy sector, specializing in innovative solutions for the maritime industry. The team is dedicated to excellence and sustainability, providing essential services that support the global transition to cleaner energy. They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operational activities for the bunker trading and services division. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, driving performance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery across the team.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the bunker trading division, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
  • Liaise with the respective terminals or bunker sale contract representatives and comply to all the loading requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
  • Evaluate purchase agreements.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operation professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Manage billings accurately.
  
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role – within energy / maritime.
  • Strong understanding of bunker trading.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools for operations management.
  • Role is to be based in Singapore.
