Our client, a known ship management company, is seeking a Marine Operations Assistant. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of the Marine Operations department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting with various technical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will work closely with Managers and Marine Superintendents to uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency across the fleet.

General Responsibilities:
  • Assist in daily operations under the guidance of the Operations Manager and Team.
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks as necessary under the direction of Managers and Marine Superintendents.

Requirements:
  • GCE ‘O’ Level with a good score and 4-5 years' working experience in ship management or ship owner company in the Technical, Operation, or Safety department.
  • Polytechnic Diploma in Maritime or any Engineering discipline with 1-2 years' experience in ship management or ship owner company in the Technical, Operation, or Safety department preferred.
  • Team player and able to commit working operational hours
