Job Description: Middle Office Manager / Assistant Manager / Executive

Required Skills:
  • Over 3 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Japanese (speaking and writing), an added bonus but not essential.
Responsibilities:

Management Accounting:
  • Compile and analyze monthly closing data
  • Prepare quarterly income and expenditure forecasts
  • Create internal reports in Japanese
Credit Management:
  • Support Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
  • Confirm credit status
Deposit and Withdrawal:
  • Approve accounts receivable and payable
  • Confirm USD payments
Bank Registration:
  • Manage registration processes with banks
Government Agency Support:
  • Respond to various surveys (e.g., Statistics, MPA)
  • Handle transactions with IRAS
  • Confirm details with Deloitte
Audit Support:
  • Assist with inquiries from accounting firms in Singapore and Japan
Business Management:
  • Manage and update regulations, internal rules, and guidelines
  • Oversee contract management
  • Handle general internal confirmations (e.g., contracts, LOIs)
  • Manage all documentation
Insurance:
  • Arrange marine insurance
  • Check warranty details and costs with headquarter
Additional Duties:
  • Support branch manager with ongoing instructions
  • Data entry
  • General administrative tasks (e.g., hotel reservations for business travelers, appointment support)
  • Correspond with headquarters in Tokyo
