Our client, a carbon-neutral organization with offices worldwide, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their team at their UK office. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking company in the Commercial Marine sector. 

About the Role: As a key member of the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with ship owners, technical directors, and other industry stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in negotiating contracts, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions.

This role requires international travel, predominantly within Europe, providing the chance to engage directly with clients and industry partners to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, technical directors, and key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from initiation to completion.
  • Identify business opportunities and provide tailored solutions for clients in the commercial marine sector.
  • Represent the company at international industry events and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and business success.
About You: To thrive in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in sales or account management within the commercial marine sector.
  • Strong understanding of the maritime industry and its stakeholders.
  • Experience working with ship owners and technical directors.
  • Willingness and ability to be based in their UK office (London) and travel internationally, primarily within Europe.
  • A Chartered Brokership qualification is beneficial but not essential.
