The Marine Superintendent will oversee marine operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. This role requires knowledge of marine engineering, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with international, national, and company regulations.
- Monitor and manage operational performance of vessels.
- Conduct vessel inspections and audits.
- Coordinate with ship captains and crew.
- Implement and oversee safety management systems.
- Develop emergency response plans.
- Liaise with port authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Manage budgets for marine operations and maintenance.
- Provide technical support to the fleet.
- Lead investigations into incidents or accidents.
- Experience in a similar shore-based supervisory role in the cruise industry.
- Knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and maritime regulations.
- Proficiency in marine management software and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
