Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Broker to join an LPG desk in the Singapore office. This role is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of experience in LPG shipbroking, who is highly motivated, results-oriented, and has a well-established network within the LPG sector. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on the team, growing the LPG business while advancing your career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration and Development:
  • Work closely with a talented team of brokers to expand and enhance the LPG desk.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the LPG division.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning and execution to strengthen the team's market position in the LPG sector.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both existing and prospective clients in the industry.
  • Provide top-tier client service through regular meetings, calls, and email communications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met while offering market insights and timely updates.
Deal Facilitation and Execution:
  • Facilitate and negotiate deals between various stakeholders, ensuring smooth and successful transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to co-broker deals and maximize outcomes.
  • Manage the complete deal process, from initial contact through to successful execution and closure.
Market Data and Information Coordination:
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret LPG market data to provide clients with accurate and timely insights.
  • Coordinate and manage information within our tailored technology system to support decision-making and strategy.
  • Use market knowledge to inform business strategies and deliver advisory services to clients.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in LPG tanker broking, with knowledge of the sector and various vessel types.
  • A proven track record of building and nurturing strong client relationships.
  • A well-established network within the chartering and owning sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and driven by results with a passion for achieving success.
