Faststream Recruitment are working with the UK office of an international surveying business. Our client is currently looking for a Surveyor and Senior Surveyor to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be joining a growing business with the opportunity to be involved in both offshore projects and office based activities for setting up and development of future projects.

Our client is ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and should ideally be degree qualified in a relevant marine discipline. Candidates should have prior experience in shallow water surveys as a large proportion of work is with offshore windfarms and cable route surveys. Candidates should have experience of the following :

Mobilisation of navigation configurations for survey equipment
Survey Database proficiency for a range of projects ( QINSy and BeamworX NavAQ)
Knowledge of some or all of the following equipment: Kongsberg MBES, Applanix POS MV, Sonardyne and SVP
Processing experience in Caris HIPS & SIPS, BeamworX and Autoclean

Candidates should be flexible to work on site rotations of upto 6 week durations and have the right to work in the UK. A full Drivers Licence would be preferred. The role is based in East Hampshire and candidate should be prepared for to relocate as there is an expectation for working in the office on a regular basis if not on survey.
