Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:

- Talent Management:
- Captain the entire employee life cycle, making sure it's a smooth and positive journey from recruitment to off-boarding.
- Implement talent development programs that boost the skills and capabilities of our fantastic team.
- Employee Relations:
- Keep an eye on industry-specific regulations, ensuring HR policies are shipshape.
- Navigate HR risks through proactive measures, compliance monitoring, and conducting fair investigations.
- Be the mediator in conflict resolution sessions, promoting harmony in our work environment.
- Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement:
- Cultivate a positive organizational culture that aligns with the unique challenges and values of the organization.
- Implement engaging initiatives that boost employee satisfaction, retention, and overall workplace morale.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Work hand-in-hand with the VP and HR Manager to create and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Keep us sailing in the right direction by conducting regular market analyses.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles within the maritime shipping industry (extra points if you love the sea!).
- In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry-specific HR challenges.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
