Location: Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area
Work Schedule: In-office (Tuesday-Thursday), Remote (Monday and Friday)
Travel: 25-50% ship-based travel
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Superintendent to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of Hotel, Open Deck, and Attractions Maintenance, ensuring that the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inspections, repairs, certificate requirements, modifications, and dry dockings of vessels.
- Provide regular updates on hotel deficiencies, damages, and non-conformities to both onboard and shoreside management.
- Control and monitor the execution of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Collaborate with onboard and shoreside teams to address and resolve hotel-related issues.
- Process service orders, coordinate logistics for service providers, and manage requisitions for spares and materials.
- Manage the technical operations budget for hotel maintenance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
- Strong knowledge of hotel technical and mechanical repairs.
- Excellent budgeting and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Ability to remain stationary at a desk/computer for extended periods.
- Regular movement throughout facilities and occasional standing for long periods.
- Primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazards.
- Occasional exposure to changing climates and operation of machinery.
