Our client specializes in the newbuild and repair of a wide range of marine vessels, including oil tankers, container ships, and specialized offshore structures.
- Take charge of executing the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs and conversions.
- Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for Singapore yard.
- Supervise team of estimators and commercial invoicing officers to ensure they discharge duties in accurate and timely manner.
- Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
- Handle client management at Singapore yard, as and when required and submitting reports.
- Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain optimal mix of vessel types/scopes of work to maximise yard utilisation.
- Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
- To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
- Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
