As a Field Service Engineer, your main tasks and responsibilities will include installing electronic navigation equipment and relevant software to ensure efficient operation. You’ll also train customers on equipment usage and maintain and repair customer equipment during routine visits, ensuring all necessary tools are available for scheduled work. Additionally, you’ll coach and develop junior colleagues as needed and ensure accurate and timely completion of all documents.
In terms of requirements, you should have previous experience in the marine electronics field, along with experience as a radio survey technician. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential, and you should be able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver under high workload. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication within a team are also important.
