The Electrical and Automation Superintendent is responsible for managing the electrical and automation systems of assigned cruise ships. The Electrical and Automation Superintendent reports to the Vessel Manager operationally and to the Head of the Technical Department disciplinarily.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the electrical and automation systems of assigned cruise ships.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies for these systems.
- Monitor and assess system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with onboard teams and external contractors for repairs and installations.
- Manage electrical and automation projects, including upgrades and retrofits.
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions. Provided
- Provided technical guidance and support to onboard teams and crew members.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, service providers, and classification.
- Seagoing experience as Chief Electrician or as shore-based Service Engineer in a reputable Service Company is of the essence.
- Extensive experience in electrical and automation systems in the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, automation controls, and power management.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as IEC and class rules.
- Willingness to travel and spend time onboard assigned vessels.
