Job Description:
For a major project in the Middle East, we seek a highly skilled and motivated Contract Operations Manager for a rotational contract of 9 weeks on and 9 weeks off. You'll ensure exceptional services to clients, manage circa 10 assets, and mentor team members. Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, this role offers a unique chance to significantly impact success.
You'll lead the team to maintain a safe and professional work environment, inspire and motivate staff and crew, manage daily assets and crew for maximum vessel utilization, and control financial performance in line with budgets and objectives. Monitoring financial and operational performance, managing crew policies and procedures, building strong client relationships, and enhancing contract revenue potential are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications:
A Master Mariner with additional marine-related qualifications is necessary. You must have a deep understanding of ports and SPM Operations, proven experience in a similar role, strong leadership and managerial skills, and fluency in English. Experience in budget management, cost control, and maximizing profitability is essential. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, adaptable, energetic, detail-oriented, and ethical, excelling in a rotational work schedule.
