Provide expert claims handling and foster strong relationships with our Members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain relationships with existing Members.
- Manage assigned claims, offer guidance on claims issues, and identify loss prevention needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely electronic filing of all claim-related correspondence.
- Contribute to the improvement of company procedures and systems.
- Write articles for Club publications.
- Support Underwriting objectives.
- Engage with service providers, including correspondents, lawyers, and brokers.
- Participate in relevant training to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Perform other duties as required.
Person Specification:
- Maritime Degree educated or equivalent.
- Understanding of P&I Insurance
- Basic experience in insurance claims is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build effective business relationships.
- Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and team-oriented.
