- COC required Chief Engineer, STCW III/3, < 3000 kW
- STCW Advanced Firefighting and Fire Prevention
- Firefighting and fire prevention certificate
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques
- STCW Proficiency in Survival craft and rescue boats
- STCW Medical care on board ships certificate
- STCW Personal safety and Social responsibility certificates
- STCW Security Awareness
- STCW Designated Security Duties
- HELM – Management
- Enclosed Space training
- Abrasive wheels
- Medical Care or First Aid aboard ships
- Knowledge of DP systems
