Join the dynamic Chartering team in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, specifically Singapore, as a Freight Trader. In this role, you will contribute to the growth of the Asia-Pacific market, managing complex trading activities with a moderate risk approach to generate revenue and mitigate risks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members located within the global offices, ensuring the prompt and accurate exchange of information.
Continuously assess market conditions and share your insights and recommendations with the team.
Evaluate vessel options and calculate voyage freight prices.
Engage in negotiations for freight contracts.
Monitor voyage performance closely and coordinate with the Operations Department based in Switzerland and India.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in dry bulk Chartering, specifically in the Supramax segments in the APAC region.
Exhibit a strong commercial acumen coupled with excellent interpersonal skills, dedicated to adding value.
Demonstrate reliability, proactiveness, and professionalism.
Display resilience and a determined commitment to growing the APAC portfolio.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
