- Identify new business opportunities in cargo and tonnage.
- Analyze market trends and negotiate charter parties.
- Manage charter contracts and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Optimize vessel performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in dry bulk chartering, especially in the Handy Market.
- Analytical and proactive in decision-making.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Degree in maritime studies, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in dry bulk chartering.
- Proficiency in chartering software, IMOS knowledge is a plus.
- Established industry network and proven track record in securing profitable contracts.
