Our client is a is a global leader in dry bulk shipping. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartering Manager specializing in Supramax segment to join their dynamic team in Singapore. As a Chartering Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing vessel utilization and securing profitable chartering opportunities for our client's fleet.
 
Job Description:
  • Negotiate and finalize charter party agreements.
  • Calculate and price shipping deal and manage vessel positioning.
  • Communicate globally with satellite offices, brokers, agents, owners, and charterers.
  • Build and develop a strong network in the dry bulk commodity sector to identify new clients and business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record in chartering Supramax vessels within the shipping industry, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of global shipping markets, including market dynamics, trends, and industry players.
