Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Drive the creation of new marine insurance business at local, national, and international levels.
  • Client Acquisition: Leverage your network to attract new clients for Charterers Liability, Cargo, H&M, P&I and other marine insurance products, while maintaining existing relationships.
  • Network Expansion: Broaden the strategic network of insurers and placement channels.
  • Client Support: Offer expert guidance and support to clients within the marine and shipping sectors.
Your Qualifications:
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US (US Citizenship, Employment Authorization Document, or Green Card).
  • Industry Experience: Over 5 years of experience in brokerage, agency, underwriting, or within the shipping, commodity trading, marine, or energy industries.
  • Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and experience in the maritime sector.
  • Professional Relationships: Established relationships with senior leaders in the insurance, marine, shipping, commodity trading, and energy industries.
  • Network Strength: A strong network of insurers and/or connections within the shipping, marine, energy, and commodity trading sectors.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Licenses: Possession of P&C and surplus lines licenses.
