Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute back-to-back bunker trading transactions, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of fuel products to clients.
  • Offer Spot and Contract Pricing and operational solutions to facilitate customers requirements across ports in Asia.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a global team ensuring all compliance regulations are adhered to covering Price, Operations, Supply, Quality etc.
  • Manage client relations across bunker and marine fuels market with ship owners, operators, Traders, Brokers and Commercial clients.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes to inform trading strategies and mitigate risks.
  • Have a deep understanding of the bunker business, which includes ports, suppliers, owners, charterers, and regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and geopolitical factors affecting the bunker market.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in back-to-back bunker trading, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Has an extensive network of clients in Asia, and excellent relationship management with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in business development and business expansion.
  • Strong understanding of the fuel market in Asia, including knowledge of fuel specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, monitor demands, and make informed trading decisions.
