The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) will be hosting its Annual Dinner this spring. We look forward to the RINA Annual Dinner each year. With each occasion offering something unique, we eagerly anticipate what is on offer for 2023.
Taking place on Thursday the 27th of April, the dinner will be held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. Nestled between Holborn and Covent Garden.
What can you expect?
The Annual Dinner is one of the most significant events in the institution’s diary and across the world of naval architecture and the wider maritime industry. You can expect to be amongst professionals, including those working as designers, shipbuilders, operators, owners, and many more.
The Dinner
The Royal Institute of Naval Architects certainly knows how to throw a dinner party and does not do anything half-hearted. Setting the scene with a Black-Tie dress code, you’ll be treated to a delicious three-course meal in a fantastic venue.
Guests will be welcomed to a drink reception by Catriona Savage talks, the President of RINA, which will flow into the networking dinner.
As the dinner will welcome many of the most influential people in maritime, attending presents a superb opportunity to network with like minded individuals and discuss the latest trends and innovations.
Guest speakers
You’ll also have the opportunity to listen to an exclusive and incredibly insightful talk from Principal Guest and Speaker Dr Bas Buchner, President of MARIN. Dr Bas will present on the theme: Better Ships, Blue Oceans: The Role of Research in Safer, Cleaner and Smarter Shipping and Sustainable Use of the Seas.
