About the Role: In this role, you will support the day-to-day technical and operational management of a fleet of chemical tankers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing maintenance and repairs, managing budgets, and coordinating inspections and dry dockings. The position is critical in ensuring vessel safety, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee technical operations, maintenance, and repairs for assigned vessels.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations, class requirements, and company standards.
- Monitor and Analyse vessel performance, addressing issues proactively.
- Coordinate dry dockings, inspections, and survey schedules.
- Maintain budgets without compromising on safe and efficient vessel operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vessels, owners, and service providers.
- Qualifications: MEO Class I – COC with Chief Engineer experience, ideally on chemical tankers.
- Skills: Expertise in chemical tanker operations, regulatory compliance, and maintenance planning.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ship management software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Additional Information: This position requires travel (approximately 90–120 days per year) for vessel inspections, surveys, and major repairs.
