The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical management of tanker vessels. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the vessels under your care meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the maintenance, repair, and dry docking of vessels
Monitoring vessel performance and ensuring cost-effective operations
Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations
Collaborating closely with crew, technical teams, and external partners
Reporting on vessel status, technical budgets, and improvement strategies
About You
You are a seasoned maritime professional with:
A strong background in technical management, ideally in the tanker industry
Knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
A proactive and hands-on approach to technical operations
Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch preferred
