In this pivotal role, you will support the engineering team in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of the tanker fleet. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules, monitoring vessel performance, and ensuring compliance with international safety and environmental regulations. You will also liaise with ship captains, engineers, and external contractors to resolve technical issues efficiently and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.
About You
You will be a highly motivated individual with a strong background in marine engineering and ideally experienced as a 2nd Engineer on oil tankers. You possess a thorough understanding of tanker operations and maritime regulations, coupled with excellent problem solving skills. Your ability to communicate effectively with teams and your keen attention to detail will set you apart. Prior experience in a similar role within the shipping industry is an advantage.
