Faststream are partnering with a leading marine services company in the Middle East that are looking to add a skilled Superintendent Engineer to the team.
Our client is a leading marine service company based in Dubai, renowned for their expertise in advanced engine services and repairs. They are dedicated to excellence and innovation, making them a trusted partner in the maritime industry.
The Superintendent Engineer will handle services for new generation electronic control engines and dual fuel engines. You will lead the team in servicing and repairing various engine components and systems, including calibration, pneumatic system overhauls, fuel pump overhauls, and more. You will also set up workshop facilities for specific engine components and testing. You will assist with inspecting, installing, repairing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and overhauling diesel engines and auxiliary equipment. Additionally, you will enhance the company’s capabilities in new electronically controlled engine services and troubleshooting. Good communication and reporting skills are essential.
Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or any related field. Proven experience in the marine engineering sector, particularly with EC engines and related components, is required. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and reporting skills are also necessary.
