We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shipping Analyst to join their dynamic tanker division – an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage post-fixture voyage claims and ensure timely resolution.
  • Issue invoices and handle voyage claims in line with contractual agreements.
  • Oversee hire payments and other claims related to shipowners.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on operational profitability, budgeting variances, and financial accounting.
  • Handle time charterers and pool contract management.
  • Conduct voyage profit and loss analysis and reporting.
  • Follow up with counterparties for timely payments and maintain records of outstanding amounts.
  • Monitor the shipping portfolio to ensure accurate management of market exposure.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in Maritime Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in post-fixture claims with a reputable tanker owner, commercial tanker operator, oil major, or oil trader.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly responsible.
  • A team player who can work independently when needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
