We are seeking a qualified Senior Solicitor to join our marine legal team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in business development, with a strong focus on P&I and FD&D matters. You will manage your own caseload, providing high-quality legal advice while actively promoting the firm’s interests and contributing to practice growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee case management, including strategy and compliance.
- Provide focused legal advice and draft essential documents.
- Analyse and prosecute cases, delivering proactive solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and establish new ones.
- Engage with internal and external networks to enhance the firm’s visibility.
- Model positive behaviors and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in marine law, particularly in the areas of P&I and FD&D.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of working autonomously.
