An exciting opportunity for aProject Scheduler to join the market leader in clean marine technology, Silverstream Technologies.

Company: Silverstream Technologies was founded in 2010 with the aim of optimising fuel efficiency in the Maritime sector using air lubrication technology. The Silverstream® System is a proven energy saving technology, delivering 5-10% net fuel and emissions savings and can be used on both retrofit and newbuild vessels. Air lubrication is a strategically important technology which addresses the immediate decarbonisation requirements and the operational efficiency challenges emanating from future energy transitions.

Location: Chandlers Ford, Southampton Office OR London HQ, Marylebone.

Reporting To: Head of Project Controls.

The Project Scheduler will act as the company’s point of excellence in maintaining the integrated project schedule using MS Project whilst looking to continually develop the scheduling function to support wider task scheduling, resource planning and material procurement across several functions.

This role requires a candidate with expertise in scheduling and planning, alongside a sound understanding of project controls processes, good numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail and desire to learn.

Maintaining a close and positive working relationship with all functions is critical to the success of the role, as is a high degree of clarity, accuracy, and speed in executing schedule updates.


Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • Degree qualified, ideally in Engineering or relevant subject.

  • 2-5 years’ experience in scheduling and planning within an engineering, technology, manufacturing, major equipment supplier, EPC type of project execution organisation.

  • Basic Knowledge of project execution processes.

  • Able to engage, report, analyse and interpret decisions into the schedule workflow.

  • Ability to understand basic engineering concepts, procurement processes and typical activities undertaken during the installation and commissioning phase of our projects.

  • Outstanding organisational skills, and an ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, even when from a remote location.

  • Ability to design required presentation inputs.

  • Positive, optimistic, and flexible personality with “can do” attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage the business in the role of planning and scheduling.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and understanding of the demands of a fast moving international business.

  • Desire to learn, grow and progress with the company.
