Faststream are working with a major oil and gas company to add a Piping/Corrosion Engineer to their team. This role offers the chance to be part of an exciting LNG project, based in Dubai with regular business trips (4 to 15 weeks per year) to Paris.

- Develop and review specifications for piping materials, insulation, painting, and data sheets for valves, hoses, and special items.
- Provide support for purchasing activities, including technical bid evaluations and vendor documentation reviews.
- Plan and execute piping works for greenfield projects and facility shutdowns.
- Create and review fabrication and welding specifications.
- Consult on materials selection, corrosion monitoring and control, remaining life assessments, and repair strategies.
- Mentor team members on materials technologies such as welding, fabrication, and corrosion control.
- Analyse damage mechanisms and develop asset integrity strategies through root cause analysis and RBI studies.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and share insights to drive technical excellence.
- A degree in Materials Engineering or equivalent experience with similar responsibilities.
- Strong experience in the Oil & Gas industry including LNG projects.
- Strong expertise in LNG processes and cryogenic units.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and RBI studies.
- Physically capable of performing inspections, including climbing ladders and accessing equipment.
