Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, charterers, and other stakeholders in the Panamax market.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the Panamax sector.
- Negotiate charter party agreements and fixtures on behalf of clients.
- Monitor market trends, analyze data, and provide market intelligence to clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of chartering operations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Panamax market, including supply and demand dynamics, freight rates, and relevant regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the chartering process.
- Experience: Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in shipbroking, specifically in the Panamax market. However, we are also open to fresh graduates or trainees who demonstrate a strong passion for the industry and a willingness to learn.
- Education: A degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. A proactive and results-oriented approach is essential.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a keen interest in the maritime industry.
