Key responsibilities:

- To generate new business and associated sales growth by promoting and selling products/services to the Direct and Business to Business (B2B) Freight markets
- Maintain and grow existing accounts to maximise volume/revenue/yield as per the Business freight strategy.
- Manage and negotiate with leading accounts within the designated area to achieve the best outcome for the Business across all routes.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- To develop and share knowledge of market changes and competitor activity with the team
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. (Winplans).
- Actively grow revenue through new business generation, selling to the market together with the Business route network
- To work as one team and share best practice to drive performance
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain and grow positive business and customer relationships and build loyalty to the brand.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and online research.
