The Company:
My client is a family-owned business and one of the market leaders in marine consultancy, LNG/LPG technology and offshore wind energy. Their services include marine consultancy, newbuilding supervision and plan approval, their mission is to drive the transition of the maritime industry towards a more efficient and lower carbon future.

The Role:   
As an Electrical Engineer with several years of experience in the offshore wind or shipbuilding industry, you will be involved in a variety of tasks related to power systems, automation, and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:   
 Working with power distribution networks from 12 V to 10 kV   
 Handling automation and communication systems   
 Evaluating safety systems such as fire alarm systems, GAPA, UPS   
 Developing technical studies and specifications   
 Assessing tender documents   
 Reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation   
 Advocating the owner's interests throughout construction projects   
 Creating basic designs for AC systems and switchgear   

The Person:
 Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)   
 Several years of experience in the offshore wind or shipbuilding industry   
 Proven ability to work independently and manage client, shipyard, and supplier interactions   
 Strong understanding of relevant regulations, such as VDE, IEC, or classification rules for seagoing vessels   
 Willingness to travel globally as needed   
 Good communication skills in German and English, spoken and written   
 Proficiency in MS Office Suite   
 Experience with common CAD systems, such as TurboCAD or AutoCAD
