Our client is seeking a Commercial Operations professional to join their team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of tanker voyages, focusing on dirty petroleum products across the Americas region. Your role will include managing voyages, coordinating with key stakeholders, optimizing vessel performance, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, brokers, vessels, and other involved parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee tanker voyages
- Ensure compliance with voyage orders and instructions
- Maintain communication flow between customers, brokers, vessels, and owners
- Monitor vessel performance and ensure compliance with charter party terms
- Liaise with port agents and approve disbursements as necessary
- Provide operational expertise to optimize commercial performance
- Analyze voyage economics and address variances
- Procure bunker fuel as needed
- Coordinate with technical managers and Chartering Department for voyage preparations
- Seagoing experience or 2+ years of shore-based tanker experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (maritime academy preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
