Faststream is collaborating with a leading Offshore Wind company to recruit an Assistant Business Development Manager. The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships. A deep understanding of the marine and offshore wind industries will be essential for gathering market intelligence and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain a detailed understanding of marine and offshore wind markets, identifying new opportunities.
  • Develop strong business relationships with potential clients.
  • Support the company's growth strategy by identifying aligned business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Enhance brand presence and contribute to overall company performance.
  • Maintain company registrations on contractor selection databases.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials, PR content, and other written materials.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of pre-qualification documentation.
  • Support the tendering process as required.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, resilient, and driven to pursue business opportunities and build relationships. Flexibility and willingness to travel for industry events are key, along with a full UK driving licence. Experience in a similar business development role within the marine or offshore sectors is highly desirable.

This role offers flexibility, with the option to be based at multiple office locations across the UK and hybrid working options available.
