In this role, you will be responsible for the technical and operational supervision of designated vessels, ensuring they are maintained in a safe and compliant condition, and that all operational procedures are fully understood and adhered to by vessel crews.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience as a Chief Engineer on self-propelled Jack-Up barges
- Strong knowledge of ISPS, ISM, Flag State, and Classification Society procedures and regulations.
- Proven track record in managing dry dockings, ship repairs, and vessel mobilisations/demobilisations.
- Excellent project management and people management skills, ideally gained in a multicultural environment.
- Relevant qualifications, such as Marine Engineer or Officer certification, STCW Class III/2 or II/2 Certificate of Competency, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
