Do you want to be at the forefront of change within the maritime industry? This is a fantastic opportunity for an Aftercare Service Coordinator to excel their career as part of the Aftercare Delivery team within Silverstream Technologies.   

Reporting To: Director of Customer Success

Location: Southampton Office including hybrid working

The Service Coordinator will act as a focal point for processing customer enquiries relating to spare parts and services in the sailing fleet. The role
is a key bridge between Aftercare Sales and Aftercare Delivery teams.

The role holder will develop and own the processes necessary to cover the administrative tasks of customer enquiry, preparation and issue of quotes, managing process from PO to Invoice processing, support planning & scheduling workload for field service engineers.

This role requires a candidate with experience in a customer facing and revenue generating role, alongside a sound understanding of planning and scheduling, excellent numerical and reporting skills, attention to detail and desire to learn.

Maintaining a close and positive working relationship with all functions is critical to the success of the role, as is a high degree of clarity, accuracy, and speed in executing the tasks.

Experience / Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a customer facing and revenue generating role, in a marine service environment.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A passion to deliver customer satisfaction.

  • Prior experience in shipping and logistics in a marine sector.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

  • Willingness to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues.

  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, ideally NetSuite and Salesforce, with ability to define related workflows.

  • Highly numerate and commercially minded, with good forecasting skills.

  • Analytical thinker and good problem solver.

  • Excellent team player.

  • Able to analyse, report and present the activities of the function.

  • Outstanding organisational skills, and an ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, even when from a remote location.

  • Positive, optimistic, and flexible personality with “can do” attitude.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and understanding of the demands of a dynamic international business.

Desirable:

  • Planning and scheduling knowledge to APM PMQ, or equivalent, level is desirable.

  • Technical awareness and an ability to understand basic engineering concepts, knowledge of mechanical & electrical equipment and marine terminology would be preferred.
