Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer in the supervising of the deck department's daily operations including voyage planning, navigation and watchkeeping.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of deck machinery onboard, ensuring smooth sailing and the safety of passengers and crew.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, employing your expertise in marine navigation and planning.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a secure environment for all onboard.
- Valid CoC and STCW certification.
- C1/D or ability to renew/obtain.
- Previous experience in a similar role, onboard passenger vessels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
- $5,000 per month on board
- 3/3 months on/off rotation
