Job Description

Due to company growth, I have a great opportunity to join my client, a thriving boutique yacht brokerage, who are looking for a talented Yacht Charter Accountant to join them in the UK.

As a Yacht Charter Accountant you will oversee and manage the financial operations related to yacht charters and your expertise will ensure accurate and efficient financial management of charter activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage APA and other charter-related financial operations efficiently and accurately.
  • Set up and maintain dedicated bank accounts for yachts and key stakeholders.
  • Organize crew credit cards and assist Captains with invoice payments.
  • Cross-check end-of-charter APA reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Book Keeping, Accounting or Finance in the superyacht industry (shore-based or on-board e.g. Purser)
  • Excellent reporting skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with superior time management
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Familiarity with fiscal requirements and regulations in the yachting industry is a plus
  • Accounting or finance Qualification is a plus
  
Salary is dependent on experience.
